Epic Games Announces Share the Love Event for Fortnite Players
Epic Games has been continuously providing new events for its Fortnite: Battle Royale players, and the next one is about to kick off.
Epic’s Valentine’s Day event, Share the Love, will offer exclusive love-themed items to players. These items will be revealed over the next few days, starting with the launch of update v7.40 and ending on Feb. 27, just one day before season eight begins.
When the v7.40 patch goes live, players can obtain a free Cuddle Hearts Wrap by supporting a creator through the Support-A-Creator option in the store. Additionally, completing 13 Overtime challenges will grant players the season eight Battle Pass for free.
Like most special events in Fortnite, the challenges are expected to be straightforward and easy to complete. However, we’ve created a guide to keep you up to date and help you complete each challenge in no time.
Challenges for the Share the Love Event
- Collect Coins in Featured Creative Islands (15)
- Search chests or ammo boxes at a motel or an RV Park (7)
- Deal damage to opponents with Assault Rifles or Pistols (500)
- Regain health from a campfire in different matches (3)
- Place Top 15 in Duos with a friend (3)
- Visit different Named Locations (10)
- Search a Supply Drop in different matches (2)
- Revive a player in different matches (3)
- Visit different Waterfalls (7)
- Deal damage to opponents with Shotguns or SMGs (500)
- Search chests or ammo boxes at the Block (7)
- Place top 10 in Squads with a friend (3)
- Play matches of Driftin’ with a friend (3)
- Thank the Bus Driver in different matches (7)
- Search chests or ammo boxes at a racetrack or a dance club (7)
- Outlast 75 opponents in a single match (1)
Completing each challenge will award you with 500 XP. The Duos challenge, however, rewards players with a special Wrap, and the revive challenge unlocks a new loading screen.
