Fortnite’s Samsung iKONIK skin release date experiences a delay

Fortnite’s iKONIK Skin Delayed Until Further Notice

Fortnite fans eagerly anticipating the release of the iKONIK skin will have to wait a little longer. Originally set to be released on March 8, the skin has been delayed until a later date.

The iKONIK skin was supposed to be available to anyone who purchased the Samsung S10 flagship phone, accompanied by an exclusive emote. The skin was revealed at the end of February in an exciting video.

However, fans who did purchase the Samsung S10 will need to exercise patience until the release date is announced.

Samsung made the announcement on social media, explaining that the delay is to allow Epic Games to thoroughly review the redeeming process before making it widely available.

While the exact reason for the delay hasn’t been disclosed by either company, speculation suggests that the iKONIK skin may eventually be available to all flagship Samsung owners, not just those who purchased the S10.

Additionally, the iKONIK skin mistakenly became available to all Samsung users on the mobile store for a short period, indicating a possible error on Epic’s part.

Regardless of the reason, Fortnite fans will have to wait for the new release date of the iKONIK skin and emote.
