Fortnite’s Playground LTM Set to Return Online Later Today

Epic Games Provides Update on Playground Mode Availability in Fortnite

Epic Games has recently provided an update on the availability of the highly anticipated Playground limited time mode in Fortnite. The mode was launched in the game’s 4.5 patch but had to be disabled due to overwhelming demand.

According to Epic, the matchmaking service was unable to handle the large number of players trying to access the mode all at once. However, the company has since made significant improvements and separated the Playground matchmaker from the default modes’ matchmaker. These changes are expected to go live later today, allowing the Playground mode to come back online.

What is Playground Mode?

In Playground mode, players have the freedom to respawn and build to their heart’s content. It is a one-hour-long mode where players can enjoy a sandbox experience without the intensity of battle. It serves as both a creative outlet and a practice ground for players looking to enhance their skills.

Furthermore, Playground mode offers plenty of resources, with a generation rate ten times higher than the normal rate. The map is also filled with 100 Loot Llamas, ensuring players have ample supplies. In addition, chests and ammo boxes have a 100 percent spawn rate, making it even easier for players to gear up.

Epic Games has not provided a specific time for the re-launch of Playground mode but advises players to stay tuned for more information in the coming hours. Once the mode is ready, players will have the chance to dive back into this unique and exciting experience.
