Fortnite’s Playground LTM Postponed to Next Week

Epic Games Delays Launch of Fortnite’s Playground Mode

Epic Games has announced that the highly-anticipated Playground mode in Fortnite will be delayed until next week. The mode was initially released on Tuesday but had to be disabled due to matchmaking issues caused by a flood of players trying to access it. Epic has been providing updates on the mode’s status on Reddit.

No Fix in Sight, Launch Postponed

Unfortunately, a fix for the issues preventing the launch of the Playground LTM is not expected over the weekend. Epic Games stated on Twitter that they will continue working on resolving the issues and plan to release the mode next week. They apologize for the delay and acknowledge the frustration of waiting.

What is Playground Mode?

Playground mode is a departure from Fortnite’s classic battle royale format, offering players a sandbox experience. It allows players to freely explore the map and build structures with unlimited resources. Friendly fire is enabled, allowing players to have one-on-one battles with their teammates. Until Playground mode is ready, players can continue to enjoy the regular battle royale mode and 50-vs-50 matches.
