Epic Games Adds New Vehicle to Fortnite Season 7
In the latest season of Fortnite, developer Epic Games has introduced a new vehicle for players to use: a noisy plane. This addition comes as an alternative to the Quadcrasher and ATK vehicles.
The X-4 Stormwing Plane comes equipped with a mounted machine gun, making it even more chaotic than the already-chaotic Mounted Turret. It is unclear whether the machine gun on the X-4 Stormwing has the same properties as the ground-placed Mounted Turret. However, being shot at from the skies doesn’t sound like a fun experience regardless.
The X-4 Stormwing Plane is the first aerial vehicle introduced in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It allows for a total of five seats, which is interesting considering that the game’s standard modes only support up to four players in Squads. It remains to be seen whether opponents can hijack and take control of the plane.
If flying over your enemies gives your team a significant advantage, you will need to be cautious. Other players can likely shoot and destroy the X-4 Stormwing Plane, just like they can with other vehicles. Having your plane destroyed in mid-air and falling to a full team death would not be a pleasant experience.

The details of the X-4 Stormwing Plane are still unknown. Players will have to jump into the game to discover where they can find the plane and test its new functions.
In addition to the X-4 Stormwing Plane, Fortnite season 7 includes new skins, map changes, and weapon and vehicle skins called Wraps. It’s possible that players will be able to customize their X-4 Stormwing Plane once they acquire one.
