Fortnite’s long-awaited Playground LTM becomes available again

Epic Games Brings Back Fortnite’s Playground Mode After Matchmaking Issues

Epic Games has resolved the matchmaking issues that caused the temporary shutdown of Fortnite’s Playground limited time mode. The mode was initially enabled but had to be disabled due to overwhelming demand and subsequent matchmaking problems. Epic worked diligently over the weekend to address the issues and bring the mode back online.

Constant Updates and Testing Process

Throughout the downtime, Epic kept players informed through Reddit with regular updates on the progress of matchmaking improvements. The latest update confirmed that the testing process was completed, and servers were being deployed to make the Playground LTM available again. Epic mentioned that the mode would be gradually opened up to different regions and platforms to ease stress on backend services, with the aim of making it fully accessible to all players by the end of the night.

What to Expect in Playground Mode

Playground mode offers a departure from the traditional battle royale format and transforms the Fortnite map into a sandbox for players to freely explore and build. Resources are plentiful throughout the map, allowing players to construct extravagant structures without limitations. Friendly fire is also enabled, providing opportunities for one-on-one battles with teammates. Ultimately, Playground mode encourages players to enjoy the game without the pressures of the battle royale mode.

Take advantage of the reintroduction of Playground mode and have fun exploring its possibilities while it’s still available!
