Fortnite’s Levitating Furniture Makes a Comeback, but Fails to Impress

The Mystery of Floating Furniture in Fortnite: Battle Royale Solved

The floating furniture phenomenon that had the Fortnite community buzzing with excitement has come to an end. The furniture, which was spotted at the motel area west of Lazy Links, has returned to the ground.

The furniture inside houses on the Fortnite island could be seen floating a few inches above the ground, accompanied by a blue glow. This sparked a range of theories among the community, especially with the impending in-game event involving the cube known as Kevin. What connection did the cube have with floating furniture?

As it turns out, the answer is nothing significant. After the cube exploded, it transformed Loot Lake into Leaky Lake, but no changes were observed with furniture in other areas. The floating furniture that had captured the community’s attention is now back on the ground. Unlike the disappearing Tomato Head in Tomato Town or the Durr Burger sign in season four, the floating furniture has not vanished, but it is no longer floating.

While it may be disappointing, this occurrence serves as a reminder that players can sometimes overthink what they see in Fortnite. The floating furniture was simply aligning with the in-game seasonal theme of the Halloween event, Fortnitemares.

Although this particular change in Fortnite may not have held any significant meaning, it leaves us eager for what will unfold as season six comes to a close.
