Fortnite Update Reveals New Cosmetic Items Coming to the Game
The latest v8.40 Fortnite update has been released, and data miners are already hard at work uncovering exclusive information about what players can expect in the coming weeks.
Data miner Lucas7yoshi has discovered several cosmetic items that may soon be available in the game’s Item Shop. These items include a set of four pilot outfits called “PilotSkull.” With the recent introduction of the Limited Time Mode featuring planes, these outfits would make a perfect addition to the game.
According to Lucas7yoshi, all of these pilot outfits are variations of a Legendary cosmetic item called Supersonic. Each outfit comes with a Legendary back bling called Gauge, which is a reactive cylinder that displays the number of players eliminated during the match.
The data miners have also uncovered other cosmetic items, including a robotic bunny outfit called Gemini and a back bling called Cryo Hops. Both items appear to have different variants or react to gameplay. One variant of Gemini features a blue outfit with a happy face on the bunny’s helmet, while the other variant is black and red with an angry expression. The back bling also changes accordingly.
In addition, four new wraps are set to be introduced, which appear to coordinate with the pilot skins. These wraps, known as “Callsign,” are all dotted patterns. They have been revealed to be rewards for completing Air Royale challenges in the latest update.
It’s important to note that these leaks have not been confirmed by Epic Games, so there is a possibility that these items may not actually be added to the game. However, given the track record of this particular data miner, it is highly likely that players will soon see these new cosmetic items in Fortnite.
