Epic Games Adjusts The Baller’s Health in Fortnite: Battle Royale
One of the most controversial vehicles in Fortnite: Battle Royale, The Baller, has undergone a slight change according to Epic Games.
The developer released a hotfix today that reduces The Baller’s health from 300 to 200, as announced on Reddit.
The 8.20 patch notes had mentioned that players would be able to shoot through the glass of Ballers in a future update. However, after testing the feature, Epic decided against it, stating that it didn’t feel like the right solution.
Postponed Nerfs and Possible Removal
Initially, Epic had planned to nerf The Baller in the v8.30 update, but those changes were delayed. Now, it is uncertain whether these nerfs will be implemented at all, as Epic’s testing on shooting through the glass may have led them to reconsider.
The reduction in The Baller’s health should make it slightly easier to deal with. However, similar to the X-4 Stormwing planes, some Fortnite fans may not be satisfied until The Baller is completely removed from the game.
