Fortnite’s Latest Update Introduces Wild West Mode and Dynamite

Epic Games Releases Patch Notes for Fortnite 6.30 Content Update

The latest update from Fortnite developer Epic Games brings exciting new additions to the game. The Wild West temporary mode, previously leaked, is now available along with the Dynamite item that was announced yesterday.

Introducing the Wild West Limited Time Mode

In the Wild West Limited Time Mode, players will have access to a limited set of weapons and items such as Hunting Rifles, Shotguns, and Dynamite. Assault rifles and submachine guns will not be available, but players can utilize the Minigun for automatic firepower.

Campfires, Bandages, Medical Kits, Slurp Juices, and the new Dynamites are the only consumable items available in the Wild West mode.

Additionally, the Dynamite item is now available in the default game modes. It can be found in stacks of three and is of uncommon rarity. Players can search for it in floor loot, chests, Vending Machines, Supply Llamas, and Supply Drops. The Dynamite is exceptionally powerful against structures, dealing 800 damage, but only inflicts 70 damage to players.

Epic Games provided detailed information about the explosion caused by Dynamite. The explosion takes the shape of a flat cylinder with a diameter of 1600 units and a height of 384 units. While these units may not be intuitive to players, they can quickly understand the scale of the explosion by testing the item in-game.

Unlike other explosives like Grenades, once the fuse of the Dynamite is lit, it cannot be reversed. Players must throw it within five seconds to avoid being caught in the explosion. It’s important to note that the Dynamite cannot be thrown as far as a standard Grenade.

In addition to these updates, Epic Games has also introduced the Scavenger Pop-Up Cup Duos event with changes to its Solo edition. The material cap has been reduced from 500 to 300, and the radius of most safe zones has been decreased to speed up gameplay.

No changes were made to the Mounted Turret, and no bug fixes or small adjustments were mentioned by Epic Games. Players can find the full patch notes on Epic’s official website.
