Downtime Begins for Fortnite v4.3 Update, Introducing Shopping Carts
The latest update for Fortnite, v4.3, is now in downtime and brings a new addition to the Battle Royale mode – Shopping Carts.
Unlike other games like PUBG with cars and bikes, Fortnite has never really needed vehicles due to its smaller map. However, the addition of Shopping Carts provides a fresh gameplay experience.
The Shopping Cart is a two-player vehicle where one person drives and the other can shoot. These carts can be found scattered across the map.
In addition to Shopping Carts, the update introduces new items. Apples were previously added to restore five health, and now mushrooms can be found in swampy areas to restore five shield. This allows for more flexibility in managing your life total, reducing the need to waste premium shield or healing items for minor boosts.
The update also includes various changes and bug fixes. One notable change is the Turbo Build function being sped up, with structures now being placed 0.05 seconds after the first piece.
Additionally, two new limited-time modes, Blitz V2 and Teams of 20 V2, will be added soon.
