New Update Adds Exciting Content to Fortnite: Battle Royale
The latest update for Fortnite: Battle Royale has just been released, bringing with it some thrilling new additions.
The standout feature of the 5.21 content update is the powerful Heavy Sniper Rifle. This beast of a weapon packs a serious punch, similar to those incredibly massive and loud .50 caliber snipers. With its intimidating appearance and thunderous sound, it’s sure to strike fear into your opponents.
The Heavy Sniper Rifle: Epic and Legendary Variants
The Heavy Sniper Rifle comes in both Epic and Legendary variants, and both versions deliver insane amounts of damage. It can deal either 150 or 157 damage to players, making it incredibly lethal. Additionally, the weapon’s large rounds can cause devastating damage to structures, destroying walls with 1,050 or 1,100 hit points. Moreover, it has less bullet drop compared to other sniper rifles in the game.
New Limited Time Modes: Sniper Shootout and Soaring 50’s
The update also introduces two exciting limited time modes. The first is the classic favorite, Sniper Shootout, where only sniper rifles are available as weapon drops. In this mode, floor loot spawns are reduced by 50 percent.
The second mode, Soaring 50’s, offers a unique twist on the 50 vs. 50 game mode, focusing on mobility. Players can now deploy their glider by pressing the jump button when they are in mid-air and higher than 10 meters. The mode also increases the spawns of impulse grenades, bounce pads, and launch pads, providing even more means of transportation.
