Fortnite’s Latest Update Introduces Bottle Rockets and Environmental Campfires in Version 7.30

Fortnite’s v7.30 Content Update: What’s Coming

The patch notes for Fortnite’s v7.30 Content Update have been released by developer Epic Games. These notes reveal all the exciting additions coming to Battle Royale this week for players to enjoy.

Epic Games had already given us a sneak peek of what to expect. They teased the addition of Foraged Campfires and Bottle Rockets, and also mentioned that some bug fixes were on their way.

Bottle Rockets

We now have more information about Bottle Rockets. They are an uncommon throw item that players can find from various sources such as Floor Loot, Chests, Vending Machines, Supply Llamas, and Supply Drops.

When thrown, the Bottle Rockets will automatically shoot small rockets for about nine seconds. Each rocket deals 10 player damage and 40 structure damage, and a total of 45 rockets can be fired from each Bottle Rocket. Players can only have a maximum of two active Bottle Rockets at a time.

This means that a player can potentially deal up to 450 player damage and 1,800 structure damage with a single Bottle Rocket.

Environmental Campfires

Players can now heal themselves by interacting with campfires scattered around the Fortnite island. These campfires will heal everyone around them for two health per second over a period of 25 seconds, with a maximum total of 50 health per use.

These campfires function similarly to the Cozy Campfire item, but players cannot carry them around and must find them instead. Only one Foraged Campfire can be used per match, and used campfires will not have wood on them.

Vaulted Items

Epic Games has announced that the Boombox item has been vaulted. This item allowed players to place a sound box that continuously damaged structures, but it may now be redundant with the introduction of Bottle Rockets.

Players can jump into Fortnite: Battle Royale soon to experience all the changes in the v7.30 Content Update.
