Epic Games Delays Release of Driftboard in Fortnite
Fortnite players were eagerly waiting for the release of the Driftboard in tomorrow’s update, but Epic Games has announced a postponement. According to a Reddit post, Epic wants to focus on quality of life improvements before introducing the new vehicle.

Epic Games acknowledges that they had previously set the expectation for the Driftboard to release in the next update. However, they have decided to delay its release in order to make necessary quality of life changes and polish improvements. Although the Driftboard will eventually be added to Fortnite, it won’t be included in the upcoming v7.10 patch. Epic wants to ensure that players’ experiences with the Driftboard meet their expectations.
Other changes in the upcoming update
While the release of the Driftboard may be delayed, the v7.10 update will still bring several quality of life and balance improvements. One of the potential changes is a nerf to the X-4 Stormwing airplane.
