Fortnite’s Double XP Weekend Commences Today

Epic Games Doubles XP Points for Fortnite Players

Fortnite players are in for a treat this week as Epic Games announces a series of exciting updates. Not only can players unlock the season eight Battle Pass for free with new challenges, but they will also earn double the XP points this weekend.

From Friday, February 15 to Sunday, February 17, all players of Fortnite: Battle Royale will receive double the XP points per match. This means faster leveling up and more Battle Stars as rewards.

Epic Games has not yet announced the exact start time for the double XP weekend, but players will have ample time to enjoy the bonus. Additionally, it remains unclear if the base XP players receive per match will be doubled, or if the increase will take effect after other Battle Pass bonuses are applied post-match. In the latter case, players would earn significantly more XP points.

A second Double XP Weekend is also scheduled from February 22 to 24.

This weekend in Fortnite will offer players even more exciting activities. The Fallen Love Ranger challenges will soon be unlocked in all regions, allowing players to earn up to 2,000 V-Bucks. Competitive players can look forward to the start of the Share the Love Duos Competitive Series, while casual players may witness earthquakes and cracks forming on the island during their matches.

As season seven comes to an end, it’s clear that Epic Games is committed to providing players with ongoing updates and rewards to keep them engaged in the game.
