Fortnite’s Cobalt Pack is now accessible in select nations

New Cobalt Pack Coming to Fortnite: Battle Royale

A brand new pack of cosmetic items is set to be released in Fortnite: Battle Royale.

Cobalt Pack Spotted on PlayStation Stores

The highly anticipated Cobalt Pack has been spotted on sale in various PlayStation Stores around the world, including New Zealand, Australia, and the U.K. Epic Games, the developer of Fortnite, has announced that it will be available in all regions by the end of the day.

Cobalt Pack Announcement and Leaks

Initially, the company announced that the Cobalt Pack was available in the Store late last night, but later stated that it would roll out for all platforms within the next 24 hours. Leakers had already discovered the Cobalt set last week hidden in the Fortnite game files. Their findings also suggested that a Starter Pack was coming soon, which has now been confirmed.

What to Expect from the Cobalt Pack

The Cobalt set, available in the PlayStation Store, includes 600 V-Bucks, the Cobalt outfit, and a Reinforced Back Plate Back Bling. The price varies from country to country, but based on the U.K. price of £3.99 and the Australian price of $7.55, we can estimate that the Cobalt Pack will be sold for $4.99 in the U.S., similar to previous Starter Packs.

Unlike previous Fortnite cosmetics packs, the Cobalt Pack drops the “Starter” from its name. Similar to the Summit Striker, Rogue Agent, and Wingman packs, it includes 600 V-Bucks, an outfit, and a Back Bling for $4.99.

Fortnite players in the U.S. and other western countries should expect to see the Cobalt Pack available in the in-game Store in the next few hours, considering time zones.
