Fortnite’s 6.10 Update Introduces Quadcrasher and Exciting Events

The Latest Update in Fortnite Brings Exciting New Features

The highly-anticipated 6.1 update for Fortnite is finally here, and players are in for a treat with the introduction of a brand new vehicle and thrilling competitive gameplay.

Introducing the Quadcrasher

The Quadcrasher is a powerful two-person ride that functions like a supercharged All Terrain Kart. Players can utilize its boost ability to crash through buildings, fly off ramps, and even launch themselves at opponents.

A Force to be Reckoned With

The Quadcrasher marks the third vehicle in Fortnite: Battle Royale, joining the ranks of the Shopping Carts and the previously mentioned All Terrain Kart. Each vehicle has its unique qualities, but the Quadcrasher is the most powerful and potentially the most useful of the three.

Exciting Online Tournaments Await

In addition to the new vehicle, the update brings the introduction of the Events tab, where players can participate in online tournaments. Epic Games has confirmed the first event, a Solo competition, which begins today and runs until October 21. There are also plans for four other event types in the coming weeks, including a weekly Squad tournament every Friday.

Changes to Port-A-Fortress and More

The developers have disabled the Port-A-Fortress once again, citing the need to “resolve some issues.” It is unclear at this time what exactly prompted this decision. However, players can still enjoy other updates such as the return of the Grave Digger rifle and the availability of the Rat King Assault Rifle, a semi-automatic weapon that packs a punch, from October 17 to October 24.
