Epic Games Fixes Issues with Fortnite: Battle Royale in Latest Update
Today at 5am CT, Epic Games released a small client update for Fortnite: Battle Royale to address some issues that arose after the v8.40 update on April 17.
The update mainly consisted of minor bug fixes, but it’s great to see that the developer is actively working to improve the game.
Issues Resolved in Battle Royale Mode
Among the issues that were addressed in the battle royale mode are Blackheart’s beard growing uncontrollably in the Deep Friend Food Fight LTM and the Bush item not appearing in any game modes after playing Air Royale LTM.
Epic also fixed the problem where throwable items weren’t dealing damage if it was the last item consumed in a stack, and they corrected the Item Shop countdown. They also made stability improvements to Fortnite’s Creative mode.
While it doesn’t seem like there were any major changes in this update, it’s good to know that Epic is taking steps to fix the recent inconveniences in the game. You can find the full patch notes for v8.40.1 on Epic’s website.
