Fortnite Season 8, Week 4 Challenges introduce The Baller and Pirate Cannons.

Fortnite Week Four Challenges Now Available

The latest set of weekly challenges for Fortnite: Battle Royale has just been released. These challenges are part of season eight and follow the same format as previous weeks. There are three free challenges that all players can complete, as well as four premium challenges exclusive to Battle Pass owners.

All of the challenges can be completed in Solo, Duos, and Squads game modes, as well as any Limited Time Mode. However, it may be easier to complete certain challenges in specific game modes. For example, outlasting opponents is less difficult in Solo mode, and dealing damage with different weapons is easier in modes with respawning enabled. Players can also activate Party Assist for a challenge before each match to help them complete it faster.

This week, players will need to find Pirate Cannons, The Baller, and the Legendary item, Buried Treasure. Additionally, they will need to visit specific named locations on the map and eliminate opponents using certain weapons.

Here is the full list of season eight, week four Fortnite challenges:

Free challenges

– Stage 1: Land at Tilted Towers
– Stage 2: Land at Junk Junction
– Stage 3: Land at Retail Row
– Stage 4: Land at Happy Hamlet
– Stage 5: Land at Pleasant Park
– Use The Baller in different matches (5)
– Get an elimination with a Scoped weapon and a Suppressed weapon (one per gun)

Players will earn a total of 5 Battle Stars for completing these challenges.

Battle Pass challenges

– Launch yourself through structures with a Pirate Cannon (25)
– Search Buried Treasure (2)
– Eliminate opponents at Happy Hamlet or Pleasant Park (3)
– Stage 1: Outlast 60 opponents in a single match
– Stage 2: Outlast 70 opponents in a single match
– Stage 3: Outlast 80 opponents in a single match

Players will earn a total of 10 Battle Stars for completing these challenges.

There are a few tips to complete these challenges quickly. If a Limited Time Mode with respawning is available, it’s recommended to play matches in that mode to complete the eliminations and Pirate Cannon challenges. You’ll have multiple chances or better progress in a single match compared to a standard game mode.

Completing the challenge of outlasting 90 opponents in a Solo match is relatively easy. Avoid highly-contested areas like Tilted Towers and land near the end of the Battle Bus path to minimize encounters with opponents. Focus on survival rather than eliminations.

Once you’ve completed the week four challenges, along with the previous sets of weekly challenges, you’ll be able to find and collect a secret banner in your next match.
