It’s Thursday, which means it’s time for some new challenges in the world of Fortnite! This week, you have the chance to earn a whopping 50 Battle Stars to help level up your Battle Pass for season five. By reaching tier 100, you can unlock the awesome Ragnarok skin.
Let’s take a look at what you’ll be facing in week three of season five.
Free Challenges
Deal damage to opponents in a single match (500) – 5 Stars
Dealing 500 damage may seem daunting, but it becomes easier when you remember that damaging downed enemies also counts. For example, if you play Squads and eliminate an enemy with full health and shield, and then finish them off when they’re downed, that’s 300 potential damage right there.
Use a Launchpad (1) – 5 Stars
Step one: find a launchpad. Step two: use the launchpad. It’s as simple as that. There’s no specific strategy here, you just need to have some luck in finding and looting one of these items.
Follow the treasure map found in Flush Factory (1) – 10 Stars
Head to the mountain northwest of Fatal Fields to easily earn 10 Battle Stars.
Battle Pass Challenges
Search Chests in Fatal Fields (7) – 5 Stars
After completing the previous challenge, head down to Fatal Fields to find some chests! They are consistently found throughout the area, mostly in the big house, the barn, and the smaller buildings nearby.
Shoot a Clay Pigeon at different locations (5) – 5 Stars
PULL!
With the addition of skeet shooting machines in update 5.1, you’ll need to interact with them to complete this challenge. There are at least six different machines located around the map, so use five of them to earn five stars.
Eliminate opponents in Haunted Hills (5) – 10 Stars
Haunted Hills may not be the most popular landing spot due to its location, but this week, more players will be heading there for this challenge. You are more likely to encounter opponents in Solo games, as some players prefer to play slowly and venture off the beaten path. Head to Haunted Hills and eliminate them to gain their souls.
Explosive weapon eliminations (3) – 10 Stars
In order to complete this challenge, you need to kill or finish off an enemy you’ve downed using a rocket launcher, grenade launcher, grenades, or C4. Repeat this three times and earn yourself 10 stars.
