Fortnite Season X: Week 1 Challenges
Every new season in Fortnite: Battle Royale brings a sense of excitement, just like waking up on Christmas morning. Along with a fresh batch of skins and new locations, there are also exciting challenges to help you rank up your Battle Pass.
If you want to unlock the awesome Ragnarok skin at tier 100, you’ll need to complete challenges on a weekly basis. Let’s dive into the tasks for Week 1. This season, challenges are divided into free ones and Battle Pass ones. So, if you want to make the most out of them, make sure to pick up the Battle Pass for 950 V-Bucks.
Free Challenges
Deal damage with SMGs to opponents (500) – 5 Stars
SMGs are incredibly powerful now, thanks to recent buffs. Both types of SMGs are great at close range. Grab one and start dealing damage to your enemies to easily earn five stars.
Search a Supply Llama (1) – 5 Stars
Searching a Supply Llama requires some luck. Keep an eye out for these colorful creatures throughout the map and loot them when you find one. Remember, only three Supply Llamas spawn per game, so you may have to be patient to complete this challenge.
Clinger, Stink Bomb or Grenade Eliminations (3) – 10 Stars
In this challenge, you’ll need to eliminate three opponents using throwable weapons like Clingers, Stink Bombs, or Grenades. Pick them up whenever you come across them and use them strategically in confined spaces for maximum efficiency.
Battle Pass Challenges
Search Chests in Snobby Shores (7) – 5 Stars
Snobby Shores, on the west coast of the map, is the danger zone for this week. Land there and search seven chests to complete this challenge. Don’t rush, as you have the entire season to find them.
Search floating Lightning Bolts (7) – 5 Stars
Floating Lightning Bolts can be found in random spots high in the sky. You’ll likely need to build up to reach them, so make sure you have enough materials to do so.
Follow the treasure map found in Risky Reels (1) – 10 Stars
To quickly earn 10 stars, head to the ledge south of Tomato Town and follow the treasure map found there.
Eliminate opponents in Retail Row (3) – 10 Stars
Retail Row has survived the rifts and remains a popular landing spot. Eliminating three opponents in this highly populated area should be relatively easy.
