Fortnite: Rune near Fatal Fields Activated by Floating Island

The Mysterious Cube Continues to Unleash Chaos in Fortnite

The cube in Fortnite: Battle Royale continues to wreak havoc on players, and it appears that there is no way to stop it.

Today, the floating island in Fortnite moved again after activating a rune near Shifty Shafts a few days ago. As a result, another Corrupted Area has been affected, this time near Fatal Fields. This marks the third Corrupted Area impacted by the Loot Lake island.

This trend began on Sept. 30 when the floating island first activated the rune near Pleasant Park. Once the island reaches one of these marks, it stops moving and alters the surrounding landscape.

The wind vortex below the island forces the rune symbol out of the ground, causing it to float under the Loot Lake island. Additionally, volcanic pits emerge on the ground, launching players into the air.

The cube, which is embedded below Loot Lake island, appears to be expanding across the floating island with each activated rune. Smaller cube fragments have been found in the house and underground areas of the island.

Based on the current pattern, it seems that the island will move to a new rune every three days. With only four runes remaining, players have a 25% chance of correctly guessing the next location of Loot Lake island.
