Multiple players have taken to the Fortnite subreddit to express their constant experience of freezing for a few seconds in every game. This problem emerged shortly after Epic Games released the v7.30.1 update, which aimed to address a similar issue during loading screens.
Specific Circumstances Trigger the Freezing Problem
According to users, this freezing bug occurs under certain conditions. Some players reported that their game freezes for two to five seconds, particularly while gliding, leaving the Battle Bus, or when using an X-4 Stormwing plane. Additionally, freezing has been observed in specific locations, such as the soccer stadium, the old villain base near Snobby Shores, and areas near Pleasant Park. While some players encounter this problem primarily at the start of matches, others have experienced it during matches and, in rare cases, more than once.
