Fortnite player receives ban for stream sniping Ninja’s live stream

A notorious stream sniper in Fortnite: Battle Royale banned from the game

In a recent stream, Ben “DrLupo” Lupo and Tyler “Ninja” Blevins encountered a player known as YouTube TC Troy, who claims to be the most notorious stream sniper in Fortnite. However, TC Troy’s reign came to an end when he was banned during the stream. He confirmed the ban on his Twitter profile, stating “it was a fun run.”

Troy’s strategy of stream sniping

Troy’s tactic involved jumping into matches with famous streamers such as DrLupo, Tim “TimTheTatman” Betar, and Ninja. By watching their streams simultaneously, Troy gained an advantage over them, catching them off-guard and eliminating them in ways that would normally be impossible. Some fans in DrLupo’s Twitch chat mentioned that Troy simply creates a new account every time he is banned, so it seems like these streamers won’t be free from his interference just yet.

Stream sniping and its consequences

Stream sniping is not considered hacking or cheating, but it still provides an unfair advantage to the snipers. This may prompt Epic, the creators of Fortnite, to take action against all of Troy’s accounts and ban him whenever he attempts to target streamers again.

Stream sniping controversy in Fortnite

Stream snipers have been a headache for Fortnite streamers for quite some time. Ninja himself was involved in a case a few months ago, accusing a player of stream sniping and calling for their ban, although the alleged stream sniper claimed innocence.

It remains uncertain whether Troy will create a new account to continue his stream sniping activities in Fortnite.
