Fortnite may introduce a Cobalt Starter Pack in the near future

Next Starter Pack in Fortnite: Battle Royale Leaked

Recent leaks have revealed some exciting new cosmetic items that might be making their way to Fortnite: Battle Royale in the near future. One leaked game file, discovered by leaker Lucas7Yoshi, hints at a possible next Starter Pack called the “Cobalt Starter Pack.” Additionally, a leaked outfit called Cobalt was also unveiled, featuring an Epic skin that resembles a special ops soldier wearing a cobalt mask with mysterious writing on its forehead.

If the Cobalt outfit is indeed the next Starter Pack, Epic Games will most likely sell it for $5 with additional benefits. Previous Starter Packs were available for purchase in the in-game Item Shop and typically included an outfit, back bling, pickaxe, and 600 V-Bucks, all for just $5. This was the case with the Summit Striker and Rogue Agent Starter Packs released in 2018.

Starter Packs are regularly rotated in and out of the game, and their cosmetics often return to the Item Shop at a higher V-Buck cost, which converts to a higher real-money price.

Epic Games has yet to officially announce the next Starter Pack for Fortnite. However, it is expected that they will do so soon. As there is currently no Starter Pack available for players, many would greatly benefit from the extra 600 V-Bucks to purchase this season’s Battle Pass before the season seven rewards are no longer obtainable.
