A New Explosive is Coming to Fortnite: Battle Royale
In a recent in-game message, Fortnite: Battle Royale has confirmed the arrival of sticky grenades known as the “Clinger”. These unique explosives can attach to any surface or player, resembling a combination of a grenade and a toilet plunger in the game’s signature cartoonish style. While it’s not entirely clear yet if they can be thrown, it certainly seems to be the case.
Continued Support and Updates for Fortnite
Epic Games continues to show support for Fortnite by regularly updating the game with new features. The Clinger will join recent additions such as the light machine gun and Port-a-Fort, which have been introduced over the past month.
Upcoming Update and Challenges
The upcoming version 3.6 update is scheduled to release on Tuesday, April 24. The servers will go down at 3am CT and the patch will be live once the servers are back up, usually within a few hours. Although not confirmed, it is highly likely that the Clinger will be included in the 3.6 patch. Additionally, the final set of season three challenges will be released later this week, offering players a last opportunity to maximize their Battle Pass before the season ends on April 30.
