The Mysterious Fortnite Helicopter Lands at Loot Lake
The mysterious helicopter that has been spotted flying around the Fortnite: Battle Royale island has finally landed at Loot Lake. This is the 15th location where the helicopter has landed since its first appearance a few weeks ago near the volcano.
All previous landings of the helicopter were in the vicinity of Loot Lake, but this is the first time it has landed directly on it. Interestingly, the landing occurred right after the excavation site in the area was fully dug up, revealing a hidden bunker.
Possible Connection to Excavation Sites
This is the first time the helicopter seems to be connected, to some extent, to the excavation sites that have been appearing around the island. It is speculated that Epic Games might have something related to the helicopter planned for future updates.
Possible Tie to Ruin Skin and Season 8
One major theory suggests that the helicopter may also be tied to the upcoming season 8 special skin called “Ruin.” Based on teaser images, Ruin seems to be connected to fire and the excavation sites. Since the helicopter is getting closer to the sites, it is possible that Ruin has something to do with it as well.
Regardless, the helicopter remains an intriguing object for players to keep an eye on. While it may seem pointless now, players continue to monitor its movements in hopes that it will all become clear soon. With the v8.30 update coming this week, there is a chance that we will get some answers.
