Kamu, founded in 2013, offers a range of services including game security, telemetry, and management. Their anti-cheat service protects over 80 games and is trusted by more than 100 million PC players globally.

Collaboration with Fortnite

Kamu has been working closely with Fortnite to create a fair multiplayer experience for all players. Tim Sweeney, Epic’s founder and CEO, expressed their commitment to providing developers with the tools necessary to grow and sustain successful games post-launch.

A Boost for Game Developers

Sweeney mentioned the challenges faced by game developers and emphasized that Epic’s success lies in the success of developers. The acquisition of Kamu will enable the expansion of services to support developers in creating beautiful gaming experiences and identifying player needs in real-time.
