Fortnite: Battle Royale’s Playground LTM temporarily withdrawn, night return postponed

Epic Games pulls Playground LTM from Fortnite: Battle Royale due to matchmaking issues

The highly-anticipated Playground Limited Time Mode in Fortnite: Battle Royale was swiftly removed by Epic Games shortly after its release. However, players will have to wait at least another day before they can access the game mode again.

Many fans have been eagerly waiting for months to try out the new game mode, which was supposed to be more casual and beginner-friendly. Unfortunately, due to extensive matchmaking issues, players only had a limited amount of time to play after it was added in today’s update.

After Epic closed the mode for repairs, some fans expected it to return shortly, but that’s not the case. According to an Epic employee on Reddit, the LTM will remain closed for the night as multiple teams are working to resolve the issues and bring the mode back.

This is undoubtedly disappointing for the majority of fans who didn’t have a chance to play with their friends when the update went live. However, players can still enjoy the new Dual Pistols and other changes to weapons’ damage that were introduced in the update, including another shotgun nerf.

Although Playground may not be available for the rest of the night, it’s expected to return to Fortnite: Battle Royale within the next day or two.
