Fortnite: Battle Royale’s Guided Missile Temporarily Disabled

An infamous weapon temporarily removed from Fortnite: Battle Royale

The Guided Missile in Fortnite has been temporarily disabled while Epic Games investigates an issue, as announced earlier today. The developer’s tweet doesn’t provide much information about the issue.

Guided Missile: A powerful weapon turned scout

The Guided Missile was first introduced to Fortnite: Battle Royale on March 14. Its remote-controlled missiles made it a potent weapon for scouting and dealing damage to enemies. However, Epic realized its power and vaulted it on April 17. In July, they brought it back with rebalanced utility and officially added it to the game on July 31.

A less powerful Guided Missile

Since its return, the Guided Missile hasn’t been as powerful as before. It remains to be seen if Epic reveals the current issue with the launcher and how it will impact the weapon in the future.

If any additional information is revealed about the Guided Missile’s temporary disablement, we will update this article.
