Fortnite: Battle Royale will soon introduce the Quad Launcher

Fortnite: Battle Royale to Introduce Quad Launcher Soon

Get ready for some explosive action in Fortnite: Battle Royale as Epic Games has officially confirmed the arrival of the Quad Launcher. This new weapon fires four rockets simultaneously and will soon be added to the game. Players received an in-game message on their home screen to make the announcement official.

Dataminers discovered the Quad Launcher in the game files after the 5.4 update on September 6. While the Spike Arena Trap, another find from that datamine, was introduced as the Spiky Stadium, there wasn’t much mention of the Quad Launcher until now.

It’s important to note that while the Quad Launcher is making its debut in Battle Royale, it’s not a new weapon to Fortnite. In Save the World mode, it already exists as a Legendary weapon. However, when it transitions to the PvP mode, there may be some differences.

In Save the World mode, the Quad Launcher not only shoots rockets but also causes a pool of fire upon impact. While it’s possible that the same effect will be present in Battle Royale, the in-game description provided by the developers didn’t mention anything about fire pools.

Players have also speculated about the return of the High Explosives Limited Time Mode, which features all explosive weapons in the game, coinciding with the release of the Quad Launcher.
