Balloons Coming to Fortnite: Battle Royale
In the near future, balloons will be introduced as a new feature in Fortnite: Battle Royale.
The message of the day on the Fortnite pre-lobby screen reveals a picture of balloons, along with announcements for the competitive Fall Skirmish and Fortnitemares limited-time event.
The message states, “Inflate balloons to defy gravity. Add balloons to increase your altitude!”

A recent data mine revealed balloons along with the Quad Launcher, which has already been in the game for a couple of weeks. These helium-filled balloons may serve as consumables that allow players to scout open areas.
Balloons are expected to be added in the next game update, possibly during the middle of this week.
