Introducing the Driftboard: A New Vehicle Coming to Fortnite
Fortnite: Battle Royale is about to see the addition of another exciting vehicle.
According to a recent in-game News message, the Driftboard will soon be available in Fortnite. The message states, “Hop on board and boost past your competition with this new single player vehicle.”
The Driftboard is likely the vehicle shown in one of the teaser images for season seven. Based on the in-game message, it appears that only one player will be able to ride the Driftboard, which makes sense for a single player vehicle.

The purple background for the Driftboard announcement suggests that it may have an Epic rarity, making it more challenging to find. Considering the existence of other vehicles in the game that can carry multiple players, such as the Quadcrasher and X-4 Stormwing airplane, it remains to be seen how effective the Driftboard will be.
Typically, Epic teases new items as “coming soon” right before they are ready to be added to the game. This means that the Driftboard could potentially join the world of Fortnite very soon, potentially as early as this week.
