Fortnite: Battle Royale Surpasses 8.3 Million Concurrent Players

In recent news, it has been revealed that a staggering number of players have been enjoying the immensely popular game Fortnite: Battle Royale.

According to a report from VG247, Fortnite has reached an astonishing 8.3 million concurrent players worldwide. This information was confirmed by a spokesperson from Epic Games Korea in an interview, and VG247 also independently verified the numbers with another Epic Games representative.

The recent surge in concurrent players could be attributed to the game’s release in South Korea earlier this week. Previously, Fortnite had a peak of 3.4 million players on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in February, causing significant server issues.

In August, Epic Games announced that it was Fortnite’s “biggest month yet,” with 78.3 million players engaging in the popular battle royale game. Given the recent report of 8.3 million concurrent players, it’s highly likely that November will surpass all previous records.
