Fortnite and Marshmello set to collaborate next month

Marshmello Collaborating with Fortnite in February

A collaboration between EDM DJ Marshmello and Fortnite is set to happen in February, according to Marshmello’s manager Moe Shalizi. In an Instagram story, Shalizi teased that something big is coming next month. The specifics of the partnership have yet to be revealed.

Excitement Builds for Marshmello and Epic Games Collaboration

Speculation is swirling around the possible collaboration between Marshmello and Epic Games. Some believe it could involve Fortnite being integrated into Marshmello’s performances, while others think the musician may become part of the game through a cosmetic skin set or an event. Alternatively, it could be a unique collaboration that brings something completely new to both parties. Epic Games has previously organized Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am tournaments, so it’s possible that a similar event featuring Marshmello could take place.

Marshmello’s Global Fame and Fortnite Connection

Marshmello’s popularity knows no boundaries. In 2018, he was streamed over two billion times for a total of 113 million hours across 65 countries. With 1.37 million followers on Twitter, Marshmello has become a familiar figure among Fortnite fans since winning E3 with Tyler “Ninja” Blevins.

Unlikely to See a Marshmello Skin in Fortnite

Although fans may hope for a Marshmello skin in Fortnite, it is unlikely to happen. Even top players like Ninja and Tfue do not have their own skins in the game. Adding a skin based on a specific content creator, like the Summit Striker set for streamer summit1g, has received criticism from other creators in the past.

Details about the Marshmello and Fortnite collaboration will be unveiled in February. We have reached out to Epic Games for confirmation.
