New Loading Screens in Fortnite’s v4.4 Update Tease the Blockbuster Skin
Fortnite’s latest update (v4.4) has revealed two exciting loading screens that may provide a sneak peek at the highly-anticipated Blockbuster skin.
To unlock the Blockbuster skin, players must complete full weeks of challenges. Unlike before, you can no longer select the easy challenges each week, as you must complete all of them. By completing seven full weeks of challenges, you will finally unlock the coveted skin.
Week seven’s challenges will be the first to reward players with the Blockbuster skin. Those who have diligently completed challenges thus far will soon be able to obtain this unique skin.
Although the Blockbuster skin has not been unveiled previously, datamined loading screens, discovered by TwoEpicBuddies on Twitter, showcase a new hero that bears striking resemblance to Blockbuster. Each loading screen is a reward for completing the challenges of a specific week.
The first loading screen seems to depict Blockbuster awakening from a hibernation or stasis chamber, which aligns with it being the week seven screen. The second screen shows Blockbuster potentially constructing a rocket or bomb—perhaps indicating plans to destroy the map?
While these findings are not yet confirmed, all signs point to the featured hero being Blockbuster. This news is especially thrilling for players who have devoted considerable effort to unlocking this special character.
