FaZe Clan’s Tfue and Cloak continue to dominate in the $20,000 NerdOut Tournament
FaZe Clan’s superstar Fortnite: Battle Royale duo, Turner “Tfue” Tenney and Dennis “Cloak” Lepore, showcased their prowess once again in the $20,000 NerdOut Anything Goes Tournament. They emerged victorious in the grand finals by defeating Vikram “Vikkstar123” Barn and Erikas “ErycTriceps” Vaitkevicius with a staggering 10 kill difference. Despite facing some of the world’s most popular streamers, Tfue and Cloak proved to be unstoppable.
In each of the six matches they played, FaZe Clan secured over 25 kills, including an exceptional 54 kills in the winners bracket quarterfinals. While some teams appeared to be formidable challengers, Tfue and Cloak’s formidable slaying abilities and strategic rotations proved too much for top players like Matthew “Nadeshot” Haag, Thang “SpaceLyon” Phan, and even Twitch star Tyler “Ninja” Blevins.
Another victory for FaZe Clan’s unstoppable duo
This particular tournament had slightly different rules compared to the Friday Fortnite series where FaZe Clan has already won four titles. Notably, NerdOut’s competition allowed for teammate sabotage, enabling players to destroy their opponents’ structures while they were being used. Despite this rule change, no team has been able to find the winning formula to defeat Tfue and Cloak. It seems likely that their reign of dominance will continue in the upcoming Friday Fortnite as well.
