New Explosive Coming to Fortnite: Battle Royale
The popular game Fortnite: Battle Royale is about to get even more exciting with the addition of a new explosive.
According to the in-game News message, Dynamite is officially making its way to Fortnite. The message urges players to “light the fuse and wait for the boom.”
Unfortunately, not much else is known about Dynamite at this time. Some fans speculate that this item will only be available in the rumored Wild West LTM, but that’s unconfirmed.
If Dynamite is added to the traditional Fortnite: Battle Royale modes, it could replace Remote Explosives as a convenient way to destroy enemy structures. However, Remote Explosives were retired in season six, so it’s unclear why Epic Games would introduce another powerful explosive.

Epic Games typically teases the release of new items as “coming soon” right before adding them to the game. So, it won’t be long before Dynamite becomes a part of the Fortnite world, possibly even as early as this week.
