Epic Games Unveils Fortnite Fall Skirmish Events
Epic Games has shared exciting details about the upcoming Fortnite Fall Skirmish events. In a recent post, they revealed the initial format for the $10 million tournament series and introduced the new Clubs to fans.
Over 500 Players Invited to Compete
Over 500 Fortnite content creators and players have been invited to compete in the Fall Skirmish. They will be divided into five Clubs and represent their Club throughout the six-week event.
The Five Clubs
- Bush Bandits
- Dusty Dogs
- Fort Knights
- Lucky Llamas
- Rift Raiders
Points and Prizes
Clubs will earn points based on player performance, and at the end of the Fall Skirmish, the Clubs will be awarded a share of $4 million in prizes. The allocation of prizes will be determined by the total points accumulated.
Week One Format
The first week of the Fall Skirmish will start on Friday (Sept. 21). The players will be split into two groups, with the first group playing at 11am CT and the second group at 3pm CT. Some players will also have the opportunity to earn points for their Club in “weekly trials” alongside the gameplay on Friday.
Hold the Throne Duos
The format for week one is called “Hold the Throne Duos.” Teams of two will compete to earn points through Victory Royales, final placings, and kills. The duo with the most points after six matches will win the event and take home $67,500, along with 305 Club Points.
Week One Trial: Squad Goals
The week one trial is called “Squad Goals.” Club teammates will team up in regular Squads matches, and the team with the highest number of kills in a single match will earn $45,000 and 325 Club Points.
