The developer of Fortnite: Battle Royale, Epic Games, took to Twitter today to reveal the third teaser image for season eight.
The message on the image reads, “Awaken beasts of fire and ash, battle it out and loot the stash.” The fiery image showcases a tiger and a rocky mountain.
In relation to the teaser, players anticipate the release of Fortnite season 8, with speculation about potential changes and additions.
This new teaser matches the previous two that were revealed on Sunday and Monday. However, this is the first time fire is explicitly mentioned. The first teaser hinted at treasures and loot with a pirate theme, while the second teaser featured a snake-like creature inside a cave.
The meaning behind these teasers is still unclear, as Epic has transitioned from pirates and caves to a tiger and fire in the third teaser.
Fans speculate that these teaser images may be related to the upcoming season’s Battle Pass and new skins. They eagerly await the start of Fortnite season eight on Thursday, Feb. 28.
