A New Set of Challenges Arrives in Fortnite: Battle Royale
Fortnite: Battle Royale players are facing a new set of weekly challenges, but one of them may prove to be more difficult than expected.
A Challenge with a Twist
In season seven, week six, players must complete the final stage of a progressive Battle Pass challenge by dealing damage to opponents using Grenades, Clingers, or Stink Bombs. However, there’s a catch—Clingers are no longer available in Fortnite.
The Story Behind Clingers
The sticky grenade, known as Clingers, was introduced to Fortnite: Battle Royale in patch 3.6 on April 24, 2018. However, when season seven started on Dec. 6, Clingers were retired to the vault and can now only be found in Playground and Creative modes.
Challenges Can’t Be Completed in Playground or Creative Modes
Since challenges cannot be completed in Playground or Creative modes, it seems that the inclusion of Clingers in this challenge is likely a typo. When players reach stage three of the challenge, they will need to deal damage using only Grenades or Stink Bombs.

Don’t Waste Your Time
If you try to search the map for Clingers, you will simply be wasting your time. Hopefully, Epic Games will address this issue by replacing Clingers with another explosive item in the challenge text.
