Epic confirms bug in Fortnite’s week 6 challenge for throwable items

Epic Games Confirms Bug in Week Six Battle Pass Challenge

Epic Games has confirmed that players are experiencing a bug in a week six Battle Pass challenge that is preventing them from progressing and completing it. The issue occurs when players use the last throwable item of its kind in their inventory. In this case, they will not receive credit for the challenge, which requires them to use different throwable items in a single match.

Challenge Still Active for Other Items

However, players can still receive credit for throwing items if they have more than one unit of that item in their inventory. So, the challenge is still working normally for other throwable items as long as players have more than one unit of those items.

Players have the option to complete this challenge by using a variety of throwable items, including Clingers, Dynamite, Stink Bombs, Boogie Bombs, and Impulse Grenades. It is important to note that items like the Explosive Bow and Grenade Launcher, which have throwable projectiles, will not grant credit for the challenge. These items should not be used to progress in the challenge.

Completing the Challenge and Progression

It is not necessary for players to hit opponents with the throwable items in order to progress through the challenge. They simply need to throw the items anywhere in the game and they will receive credit for completing the task.

Other Challenges in Week Six

In addition to throwing items, players have other challenging tasks to complete in week six. They include finding animals made of Fortnite’s materials, searching for the location indicated by the knife on the treasure map, and visiting the highest elevations on the island.

Epic Games is currently investigating the bug in the week six Battle Pass challenge and will provide an update to players once it is fixed. In the meantime, players can still complete the challenge by only throwing items that they have two or more units of in their inventories.
