The New Season of Fortnite: Battle Royale May Introduce Epic and Legendary Infantry Rifles

The latest season of Fortnite: Battle Royale is just beginning, but fans are already digging for leaks on potential new items coming to the game.

According to FortniteBR, Epic and Legendary variants of the newly-added Infantry Rifle could be joining the game in the near future.

Although the Infantry Rifle was added to Fortnite with update v7.40 on February 14, it is currently only available as a Common, Uncommon, or Rare weapon. However, leaks suggest that more powerful Epic and Legendary versions of the Infantry Rifle could be added soon.

The leak also provides weapon stats for these rumored versions. The Epic variant would deal 47 damage, while the Legendary Infantry Rifle would deal 50. In comparison, the Common, Uncommon, and Rare Infantry Rifles deal 41, 43, and 45 damage respectively.

It should be noted that these leaked variants have not been confirmed by Epic Games, so it is uncertain if and when they will be added to the game. However, if they do make an appearance, fans who enjoy semi-automatic guns may find the Epic and Legendary Infantry Rifles to be a good weapon choice.
