Easily Evade Cube Monsters in Fortnite: Battle Royale

How to Sneak Past Cube Monsters in Fortnite: Battle Royale

Cube Monsters in Fortnite: Battle Royale have been causing quite a headache for players during the Fortnitemares event. However, there’s a simple trick to avoiding them altogether – crouch walking.

A Reddit user named BravoRonny shared a video demonstrating how crouch walking can make players completely invisible to Cube Monsters. By moving in a crouched position, players can get up close to these aggressive AI enemies without being detected. In a normal situation, the monsters would engage from a much farther distance.

These Cube Monsters have a limited field of vision and only look towards the horizon, never looking down. It’s possible for players like BravoRonny to easily move past them without engaging in combat.

We tested this technique in a Solo match and it proved successful. However, players must still exercise caution as the Cube Monsters and Spawns can detect them if they get too close. Additionally, once one monster detects a player, the nearby monsters will become aggressive as well.

The main purpose of sneaking past these monsters is to avoid unnecessary gunfire and noise that may attract other players to the area. This is especially important in the final stages of the game, where engaging with AI opponents can make you an easy target for other human players. Since many players already enjoy sneaking up on enemies in the last circles of a Fortnite match, moving while crouched should not pose a significant challenge.

Players should keep this strategy in mind for the next few weeks. Epic Games introduced the Cube Monsters as part of the Fortnitemares event, and they will continue to appear in regular game matches until November 26.

If you’d rather not deal with Cube Monsters at all, you can simply jump into the regular Squads playlist for a more traditional Fortnite: Battle Royale experience.
