Early access for Fortnite Creative starts tomorrow, with its official release on Dec. 13

Fortnite Creative: A New Mode for Players to Create and Build

Fortnite Creative, the upcoming sandbox mode for Fortnite, will be launching on Dec. 13, according to game developer Epic Games. Players who purchase the Fortnite: Battle Royale season seven Battle Pass will have exclusive early access to the mode as soon as they complete their purchase.

Focus on Building and Creating

Epic Games showcased footage of the Fortnite Creative mode during the announcement. Unlike the Playground mode in Battle Royale, this new mode allows players to build and create structures on their own private island, either alone or with friends. They will have a range of resources to choose from and can add entire structures to their island.

Custom Scenarios and Cinematics

In addition to building structures, Fortnite Creative also enables players to create custom scenarios for battles with their friends or even design their own cinematic landscapes.

Confirmed Leak

The existence of Fortnite Creative was leaked earlier by YouTuber Lachlan, who was among the 16 content creators invited by Epic Games to preview the new game mode. This announcement confirms that the leaked information is indeed real.

What’s Next?

With the announcement of Fortnite Creative, there is still anticipation for a mysterious Fortnite event at The Game Awards. While some speculated that the new mode would be revealed during the event, it is unlikely since the announcement mentions a “world premiere.” Fans will have to wait until the event to find out more.

Unlocking Fortnite Creative

Fortnite fans can unlock the Fortnite Creative mode as soon as season seven launches, which is set to happen tomorrow night.
