Domentos of Team Secret Takes First Place in Fortnite’s $500,000 European Summer Skirmish Solo Tournament

18-Year-Old Player Wins Fortnite Summer Skirmish Solo Tournament

A young player has emerged as the champion in today’s $500,000 Fortnite Summer Skirmish Solo tournament, solidifying his position as one of the top players in Europe.

Domeniks “Domentos” Bunts from Team Secret came out victorious in the European competition, defeating Duong “Kinstaar92i” Huyh, Johan “Ettnix” Bengtsson, and others along the way. The 18-year-old not only claimed the $67,500 grand prize, but also earned the prestigious title of a Summer Skirmish champion.

Domentos also holds the distinction of being a Friday Fortnite champion, making history as the youngest winner in the tournament’s previous events.

While Domentos ultimately secured the victory, he faced tough competition from other players who were determined to claim the title. In the “Hold the Throne” format of this tournament, players had to achieve Victory Royales, top two or three finishes, and four-kill games to reach eight points before anyone else.

Finishing in second place was 16-year-old French player, TheVic, with six points. ProximaStar took third place with five points. Additionally, three players—ProximaStar, Jamal “Jamside” Saydaev, and Oblivion—managed to secure the highest kill game and receive a $50,000 bonus. Unlike the NA tournament held the previous day, which saw a tie for eighth place, today’s competition had the biggest tie at 23rd place.
