Discover the schedule for Fortnite’s Alpha Tournament in your area

The Alpha Tournament: First In-Game Tournament on Fortnite: Battle Royale

The Alpha Tournament, the inaugural in-game tournament on Fortnite: Battle Royale, has launched worldwide.

The Alpha Tournament is a special event in Fortnite that began on Oct. 16 and will run until Oct. 21. Players can participate in daily Solo trials to compete against opponents in their region and earn a unique pin as recognition of their skill.

Players can earn points based on their performance in each match of the Alpha Tournament. The more kills and higher placement, the more points earned.

However, the Alpha Tournament is only open for short, three-hour periods each day. It is not possible to play outside of these designated windows. The tournament is region-specific, meaning players in different parts of the world will compete at different times set by Epic Games for their respective timezones. Most Alpha Tournaments typically occur in the late afternoon or early evening and end at night.

To find out when the Alpha Tournament starts in your region, check the information below. If you’re unsure about your region, you can go to the in-game Events tab and check the bottom right corner of your screen.

For North America, please note that the tournament begins at the same time for the West and East servers, but matchmaking is restricted to players in their respective regions.
