In addition, professional gamers from other esports, including notable Call of Duty players Damon “Karma” Barlow, Adam “KiLLa” Sloss, and Jordan “ProoFy” Cannon, will be competing.

The prize pool distribution for the tournament has not been announced yet, but Hitch has partnered with Turtle Beach and Ultra Arena to make it happen.

While the specific rules for the Summertime Showdown have not been disclosed, it’s likely that it will follow a similar format to UMG’s Friday Fortnite tournaments. In these tournaments, duos team up and compete in Squads matches, playing up to three games to determine the winners based on the number of kills.

Fortnite tournaments have always been filled with exciting plays, and Hitch’s Summertime Showdown No. 3 will be no exception. The tournament is set to kick off at 5pm CT on Thursday.
