Fortnite Celebrates Birthday Amidst Glitches
Happy birthday to Fortnite! However, it seems like everything is falling apart. Earlier today, Epic Games discovered that their dangerous C4 explosives needed repair. Now, the recently enhanced Slurp Juice has also encountered some sort of error. According to a tweet from Fortnite’s official account, the Slurp Juice will have to be temporarily removed.
Today, Fortnite released the 5.1 update, which introduced birthday cakes, a Compact SMG, skeet shooting, and unfortunate glitches. While the 5.1 update brought new features, it also took some away. This morning, the C4-style explosives were removed due to a discovered glitch. These bombs were harming players, but not their structures.
Epic Games also detected a similar glitch with the recently modified Slurp Juice. Over the weekend, they had increased its health pickup to a maximum of 75 health points. However, players did not get to enjoy the new flavor for long. The new and improved Slurp Juice has been temporarily recalled, and there is no information on when it will return. Until then, let’s pour one out.
