Introducing the Boom Box in Fortnite: Battle Royale
Epic Games has unveiled a brand-new item for Fortnite: Battle Royale this holiday season.
The Boom Box is now live in Fortnite as part of Epic Games’ second content update for v7.10. Join the action and “drop the bass” with the newest addition to Battle Royale. This powerful item can be used to tear down enemy structures by cranking up the volume and tossing it at them.
According to the patch notes, activating the Boom Box will unleash powerful blasts of music that can cause significant damage to structures in a wide area. Any newly-built walls within the range of the Boom Box will be destroyed. However, players have the ability to stop its effects by shooting the device.

The Boom Box is the second item to be added to Fortnite during this holiday season’s content update. Last week, Presents were introduced in the first content update for v7.10.
The patch notes didn’t specify the exact locations where players can find the Boom Box in-game. However, it is expected to be available in floor loot, chests, or supply drops, similar to Presents.
